Elise and Bryan,
Do you also have keywords to share? The entire I-Search is based on questions that are sparked by the keywords. Without them, you can't go forward. Bring copies of the articles you read with your highlighted keywords to class.

Where are you getting your information from? Are there online newspaper/magazine resources available from 1916?
Bryan
My brother works for Swedes and he says they have a different view towards work and vacation time. I'll have to ask him to share more information with me. He works for a software company has had to travel to meet other engineers from other countries.

A very good book about an American's adventure through Australia is : IN A SUNBURNED COUNTRY by Bill Bryson. Also I was looking on the internet and went to: http://www.mytripjournal.com/
and I thought it would be interesting to put together a virtual journal about Australia. If you were to make one, what "keywords" or topics would you include. Maybe thinking about this would help you narrow your focus.
Daly - I have a few newspaper articles and Capuzzo's book, CLOSE TO SHORE. I also have some general reference materials for background info. I'm on the hunt for additional primary sources and first-hand accounts if i can find them.
Daly - I also got a copy of Fernicola's book, Twelve Days of Terror: a definitive investigation of the 1916 New Jersey shark attacks.
